To be honest, when I was checking on the hotel on the internet it gives you a perfect view of that sunny morning sky decorated with colorful hot air balloons but when I booked in on that December 2017 weather did not go as plan and there were no hot air balloons. So please do your researches if you want to spot that magical morning.

Arrival

I was greeted by a friendly dog I just forgot the name. Checking in was quick. The hotel reception will not fail to welcome you with its signature “museum feels”.The hotel staff did a show around after check-in. From the restaurants to common places, you will see how beautifully this boutique hotel was designed. The hotel room was wow. They placed amenities such as Turkish sweets and a bottle of Champagne in the room. Even the room interior was decorated with old stuff that adds to that ambiance. The bed was too comfortable which made me feel lazy to go out.

The hotel room gives you a pretty good view of the Cappadocian valley. There is a certain spot in the room that was next to the window so you can relax and just have a feast of the eye. The bathroom too was astonishing. It was spotlessly clean. Amenities were of excellent quality. The bathroom was equipped with a bathtub facing the valley. So you can relax, sip your wine while having a great view.Best cave hotel in Cappadocia Turkey

What’s good in this hotel was that they don’t have 2 similar rooms that look alike so rooms and suites were unique in every way. Down the hallway, you will notice the adornmentsBest cave hotel in Cappadocia Turkey

One of the highlights of my stay here was the swimming pool.

Heated swimming pool

It was wintertime and the heated swimming pool gives you a panoramic view of the valley. I felt like I own the hotel because no one was using the swimming pool at that time. Facing the swimming pool was the hotel bar and fireplace perfect at night.

The hotel’s ala carte restaurant Lil’ a restaurant is another thing. They served authentic Cappadocian style dishes, good wine, and has an intimate atmosphere. Hotel’s breakfast was impressive that it made up my Museum hotel experience. A good selection of cheeses and other buffet items. Plus live cooking in a Turkish way.
